Scope of Work

As a Clinical Nurse with Corewell Health providing top-notch patient care is paramount. Youll be responsible for using the nursing process framework and incorporating patient-family-centered care principles to ensure the highest quality of care. Under the direction of the Nurse Leader youll be a vital member of our team making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Clinical Nurse will input data into MAQI Michigan Anticoagulation Quality Improvement Initiative (MAQI2) is a multi-center collaborative of anticoagulation clinics across the state of Michigan. MAQI2 seeks to improve the safety quality of care and outcomes of patients requiring anticoagulation.

Qualifications

  • Required Associates Degree or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associates degree or equivalent.

  • Required Bachelors Degree B.S.N. or M.S.N or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required. This is effective April 18 2023.

  • Required Graduates from non-accredited school of nursing programs must have at least one year of acute care experience or greater than 2 years of experience in a licensed health care role such as an LPN or EMT role etc. and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.

  • As required by job posting. Required

  • LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

  • CRT-Specialty Certification - UNKNOWN Unknown 2 Yrs required

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required Or

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - CANADIAN HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation Upon Hire required

  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association Critical Care Emergency Care Pre-Op and PACU Radiology 180 Days required

  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association Endoscopy (exception: Dearborn Farmington Hills Taylor) Upon Hire required

  • Must have at minimum 1-2 years of cardiac progressive care experience.
