Job Description
Your role
Reporting to the Director Supply Chain the position will lead and/ or support strategic sourcing opportunities and other initiatives in the areas of supply chain and procurement.
What youll do
- Management of strategic sourcing for assigned categories or products/ with key stakeholders to drive savings and/ or value improvements through sourcing and negotiation
- Oversight of all procurement and supply chain activities related to assigned categories or suppliers
- Coordinate and Forecast equipment requirements based on construction schedule in alignment with Design Engineering and Construction
- Support supply chain improvements through strategic sourcing process improvements and supplier management
- Organize and manage supplier contracts
- Track and report supply chain savings comparing actuals to target
- Track and report supplier key performance indicators
- Coordinate KPI surveys with internal stakeholders in support of the Strategic Supplier Management program
- Support effort to make the procure-to-pay process more efficient
- Support new technology implementations related to Supply Chain & Procurement
What youll need
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing and procurement for highly technical operations and capital equipment
- Successful track record in procuring negotiating and contracting across different categories
- Bachelors Degree in engineering business or supply chain.
- Outstanding data analysis skills and the ability to effectively communicate the results of analysis to executive level management
- Experience with Cross-Functional Collaboration Stakeholder Management and Supplier Relationship Management
- Experience with procurement and inventory management modules in Oracle and/or SAP preferred
