The Consumer Promotions Manager drives the development and execution of consumer and trade promotions that support brandobjectives sales goals and retailer partnerships. Remote with locations such as:CA IL NY FL TX. This role manages promotional programming across key BOLD brands (including 19 Crimes Matua Drop of Sunshine and Squealing Pig) ensuring initiatives are aligned with brand strategies and deliver measurable ROI. The Promotions Manager focuses on translating brand plans into field-ready tools and programs that build brand visibility and stimulate consumer demand.
Key Responsibilities
Plan & Execute National Promotional Programs
Developnational and seasonal promotionalprogramsin line withthe commercialcalendar brandand channel strategies including but not limited to consumer activations coupons/offers sampling giveaways tie-inpartnerships and360amplification including digital and social media
Managepoint of sale development (premiumsneckers case cards) from conceptthroughto production partnering withbrandcreative agenciesvendors and operations.
Leadadditional brand opportunities including launch kitsinfluencer gifting and custompoint of sale
Performance Analysis
Track program KPIs such as lift over baseline ROI compliance ratesand share outcomes with brand & sales teams.
Optimize future promotions based on learnings and market insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Brand Marketing to ensure promotions reinforce brandpositioning.
Partner withField Marketing and Sales teams to secure buy-in and effective retail execution.
Coordinate withMarketing Operations on promotionalitems set-updetailproduction and distribution.
Budget Management
Ensure brand promotions align with seasonal budgetsduring key focus periods in partnership withBrand Marketing andOperations.
Trade & Market Engagement
Support field marketing and sales teams with sell-in tools and education on programs.
Support management of display incentives
Attend marketblitzes distributor meetings andretailer/vendor meetings as needed.
Apply a strong understanding of brand positioningobjectives and strategies andcan bring those elements to lifein the process of program development:
Selectingthe most compelling consumer offers and promotional mechanics within budgetconstraints.
Prioritizingwhich brands or SKUs receive promotional focus in alignment with commercialobjectives.
Approvingfinal creative & POS designs that balance brand guidelines and retailerrequirements.
Determining which program learningsdrives future strategy adjustments.
Ability to apply analytic insight to decision makingprocess
Ability to recalibrate and course correct delays inprogram/operations development and deliverables
About you
Bachelors degree in marketing.
5 years of experience in promotions trade marketing or shopper marketing within consumer packaged goods wine/ beer/spirits industry preferred
Strategic Agility: Able to translate brand strategy into impactful compliant promotional programs. Has ability to expand vision to a holistic 360 approach in and out of store
Project Management: Skilled at managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated success managing promotional calendars and budgets. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Analytical Skills: Proficient at evaluating program performance and making data-driven recommendations.
Communication: Strong written & verbal skills to influence both internal and external partners.
Creativity: Ability to ideate and develop engaging promotions that break through at retail.
Relationship Building: Builds trust and drives alignment across cross-functional teams and distributor partners. Exemplifies enthusiasm motivation and a commitment to follow through effectively and manage relationships with internal stakeholders Takes ownership and responsibility for actions behaviors and contributions.
Experience partnering with legal/compliance teams; understanding and familiarity of three-tier distribution and alcohol regulatory environment preferred
Knowledge of and experience with social and digital media preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)
