Sr. IT Director for Quality Regulatory Clinical & Medical Sciences (QRCMS) IT Solutions at Medtronic will serve as the primary liaison between the IT Function and the business leaders within Global Quality and CMRA functions. This role is a senior-level strategic IT partner who shares ownership of both business strategy and business value results. Responsible for understanding business needs aligning IT strategies with business goals and ensuring the delivery of effective IT solutions that drive business value.
Additionally this leader shapes business demand into supply by 1) partnering with appropriate resources to facilitate the creation of IT strategy documents business capability maturity assessments businesscases and value plans; 2) ensuring value optimization and communication; and 3) enabling continuous improvement in all areas and people around them.
Through effective engagement and relationshipcapabilities this role contributes to the OSHPI leadership team by actively partnering with business peers to determine strategic direction. They work to identify ways in which the IT function cansupport and advance business objectives.

Position Responsibilities:
MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors Degree
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
15 years of IT experience with a bachelors degree or 13 years of IT experience with a masters degree
10 years of management experience
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience:Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT business partnering IT delivery or a related role within a large organization. Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is a plus.
Skills:
Deep business knowledge and domain expertise leading IT organizations that support R&D Regulatory Quality and Clinical/Medical areas in Pharma/HealthCare/Medtech.
Demonstrated expertise developing and leading IT organization that enabled tangible business outcomes realization through leveraging Information & Technology as a competitive asset.
Experimental mindset to drive Innovation
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Analytically minded thinking and approach.
Empower and support career growth with training mentorship and guidance.
Extensive experience in managing vendor and managed service partners as well as leading service restoration 24x7 for critical IT systems
Leadership experience in managing global organizations
