We have an opportunity for a Housing Officer to become part of a unique and important customer facing service within our Communities Team.
The Role
Theres never been a more important time to work in social housing. You will join a team who strive to sustain tenancies and create Sustainable Communities by proactively addressing Anti-Social Behaviour and promoting community cohesion by running and developing effective community events activities and initiatives.
We are here to listen understand and support. We expect you to be caring and compassionate when people are struggling and identify and report any concerns in relation to safeguarding and tenancy management. If youd like to be part of a creative and proactive team wed love you to consider us.
About You
Were looking for a good communicator with the ability to adapt your communication style tosuit individual needs. You may have experience of housing management; however your attitude values and behaviours are just as important and you may be able to demonstrate the transferable skills were looking for.
Our customers are diverse and can be vulnerable the role can be very challenging so you will need to have a flexible caring understanding proactive and positive approach.
This post requires that the job holder is subject to a DBS check at Enhanced level.
You are also required to hold a current valid driving licence and have access to an appropriately insured vehicle.
