We are currently searching for a Banquet Server for the Marriott Hotel Rochester NY.

Minimum Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience/Skill Requirements:
Must have a courteous and pleasing personality and a neat and well-groomed appearance.
Must possess public relations personality and enjoy meeting people.
Must be able to meeting public with poise and be able to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
Must be able to perform under pressure.
Must be adaptable to hours of work and job requirements.
Must be dependable and honest.
Must be willing to accept direction in training and constructive comments.
Must have general knowledge of food drinks garnish and service times of menu items.
Must have knowledge of table set ups condiments etc.
Must have knowledge of overall food and beverage operation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and break down banquet spaces per Banquet Event Order (BEO)
Maintain cleanliness sanitation and organization of event spaces
Provide excellent customer service and communicate with guests
Serve food and beverages according to company standards
Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation
Manage audio-visual equipment during events
Adhere to safety and security policies and report incidents to management
Perform other duties as required to support event operations
