Our client a leading electronic security systems company is seeking an experienced ICTS Estimator to join their this critical role you will play a vital part in securing new projects by developing accurate cost estimates and competitive bids for large-scale security system installations.
As an Estimator you will be responsible for reviewing project specifications and drawings to develop precise cost estimates for materials labour and equipment. Your expertise will be instrumental in preparing detailed and competitive bids ensuring the companys success in securing new contracts. By collaborating closely with project managers and engineering teams you will gather the necessary information to inform your estimates and pricing strategies.
Review project specifications and drawings to develop accurate cost estimates
Prepare detailed and competitive estimates for materials labour and equipment
Analyse historical data market trends and supply costs to inform pricing strategies
Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to gather necessary information for estimates
Maintain and update a database of cost information
Participate in bid meetings and tender reviews presenting to clients as required
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during the estimating process
Support the Sales team at customer meetings
Experience working with Enterprise security systems on large-scale projects
Strong knowledge of project cost estimating and bidding processes
Proficiency in using Bluebeam or similar software
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Full UK (clean) driving license
