Job Description
Roofing Estimator
Location: Head Office 6675 Rexwood Rd Mississauga ON L4V 1V1
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Onsite
Anticipated Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. 5p.m.
Salary: $70000 - $100000 (based on experience)
Pay Schedule: Paid bi-weekly every second Friday
Reports To: Roofing Estimating Manager

We are seeking a Roofing Estimator to play a key role in delivering accurate and competitive bids for upcoming roofing projects. What Youll Do
- Review project plans specifications and related documents to prepare accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects
- Conduct site visits and gather necessary data to assess project scope and requirements
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain up-to-date pricing and availability
- Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals
- Collaborate closely with project managers sales and the estimating team to ensure consistency and alignment with project goals
- Track and manage changes to project scope ensuring estimates reflect current project realities
- Assist with post-bid reviews and participate in project handoffs to operations
What You Bring to the Team
- 3 years of experience in roofing estimating or a similar construction-related role
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and construction processes
- Proficiency in reading blueprints drawings and specifications
- Excellent mathematical analytical and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
- Experience with estimating software is an asset (e.g. Bluebeam PlanSwift etc.)
