About Cleanslate
As a social enterprise undertaken by Cara Collective. Cleanslate is a small but mighty cleaning machine differentiated by its
fast and friendly service and its deep commitment to the community. We provide what some might consider an ordinary
service (litter abatement landscaping snow removal & power washing) in an extraordinary way.
Junk removal is our newest service line that provides new residential and commercial junk removal facility decommissioning
moving and donation pickup service designed to create transitional jobs for people affected by poverty. Launched under
Cara Collectives Cleanslate brand this lean-startup venture pairs excellent service with our powerful social mission:
transforming lives through employment.


About the Role
The Manager of Clean Out Services will serve as the primary staff member responsible for day-to-day junk removal operations
as it launches services. This hands-on role will combine driving and performing service jobs coordinating customer logistics
and ensuring quality service delivery. As a front-line ambassador the Manager of Clean Out Services will also help shape
operations customer experience and early business growth.
This role is hands-on and foundational. The Manager of Clean Out Services will oversee daily field operations manage a staff
of crew supervisors co-develop operational systems and training and establish strategic relationships with local disposal
and donation partners. The ideal candidate brings relevant industry experience leadership skills and a commitment to
building people and processes in service of a social mission.

Qualifications
We are excited to offer this opportunity for a mission-driven professional to join our Cleanslate team. This position is ideal
for someone who thrives in hands-on work environments is motivated by social impact and is excited to help shape a
growing social enterprise from the ground up.

Requirements:
24 years of experience in junk removal moving logistics or related operations
Prior experience supervising or managing staff in a field-based setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships
Physically able to lift 75 lbs. and work in hands-on environments
Valid drivers license
Familiarity with safety protocols tools and light vehicle maintenance
Passion for social enterprise second chances and workforce development
A commitment to Cara Collectives mission of transforming lives through employment

The Responsibilities of the Manager of Clean Out Services:

Operations & Field Management (50%)
Lead daily operations for junk removal and moving jobs ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction
Directly manage a staff of crew supervisors supporting their development and performance
Provide quotes and process payments using designated systems
Drive trucks and move equipment to and from job sites and assist with field work as needed
Ensure adherence to safety protocols vehicle maintenance standards and job site procedures
Support inventory management for tools vehicles and job supplies
Ensure a professional damage-free experience for customers
Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanor

Customer Engagement & Partnerships (25%)
Identify and build relationships with donation centers recycling facilities and disposal partners to reduce costs
and landfill usage
Coordinate and optimize logistics for material drop-offs and pickups
Represent Cleanslate junk removal services in the community and at industry events when appropriate

System Building & Training (20%)
Co-create standard operating procedures safety protocols and job workflows
Develop and deliver training materials for crew supervisors and field staff
Provide input on process improvements job costing and growth strategies

Reporting & Feedback (5%)
Debrief weekly with leadership on performance challenges and customer feedback
Offer input to refine tools pricing implement process improvements and customer experience
Support documentation of best practices and early-stage training materials

Reports To
Chief Social Enterprise Officer

Direct Report(s)
The Manager of Clean Out Services directly supervises Crew Supervisors and also provides supervision and mentorship to
Field Service Representatives on several days throughout the week (when assigned).

Work Schedule
This is a full-time field-based role with a typical schedule of MondayFriday 7:30 AM4:00 PM with occasional variations
based on customer needs.

Starting Pay Range
We take budget and starting salary very seriously. We market our roles and use a salary analysis tool called Payscale and
offer competitive market-based compensation to all employees.

This position offers an expected starting pay of $57000 - $64000 salary.
