LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid state of residency drivers license. Must remain insurable under the Countys vehicle insurance policy.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND WORKER CHARACTERISTICS:
Grant and Funding Administration:
  • Administering specific funding programs such as the State Capital Improvement Program (SCIP) and local transportation plan funds for the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) and the local Integrating Committee.
  • Coordinating with support staff to plan funding schemes for project years.
  • Working directly with local jurisdictions municipalities and townships to determine project funding needs and assist with the application process for various programs including Municipal Road Funds (MRF) and Township 20% Program monies.
  • Completing and submitting Hamilton Countys funding applications.
  • Assisting in rating applications reviewing appeals and making recommendations to the Integration Committee.
  • Coordinating and providing assistance with grant compliance for all engineering-related funding.
Operations and Reporting:
  • Preparing reviewing and analyzing financial documents and contracts related to engineering projects and grants.
  • Preparing and submitting financial reports and resolutions.
  • Reporting administrative fiscal operations by reviewing and approving invoices purchase orders and travel reimbursements related to project funding.
  • Preparing pay disbursements to contractors for Hamilton County projects determining the percentage paid by Hamilton County and by OPWC funds.
  • Attends all meetings and serves on committees as directed: attends training and seminars as dorected.
  • Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential function
  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; due to the nature of the job when scheduled for on-call assignment employee must be available to return to work after normal work hours or on weekends and/or holidays when called to do so.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
