Statista Healthcare is a vertical business unit of Statista focused on making healthcare quality transparent measurable and comparable across countries care settings and specialties. We work with leading healthcare stakeholders worldwide to support data-driven quality measurement and transformation by combining in-depth analytical expertise with scalable technology and communication power.

We help healthcare organizations define relevant key performance indicators validate and harmonize data structures and translate insights into actionable strategies. At the heart of our approach is a data driven understanding of healthcare quality grounded in robust methodologies global comparability and stakeholder trust.
In our consulting projects we support healthcare providers and systems in developing tailored KPI frameworks standardizing and validating data processes and deriving actionable insights that enable measurable improvements in patient care and system-level performance. We combine structured methodologies with hands-on delivery to unlock the full value of healthcare quality data.
Responsibilities
End-to-end responsibility for delivering high-impact global healthcare rankings from concept development to delivery in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and external experts
Develop and present robust methodological frameworks for healthcare rankings ensuring scientific rigor and credibility across markets and provider types
Drive strategic development and international scaling of the Healthcare Analysis business unit including the definition and implementation of long-term growth initiatives
Lead a team of 20 FTE including multiple Team Leads analysts and data experts fostering a culture of ownership quality and continuous development
Manage strategic partnerships including a global media brand and represent Statista in high-level interactions with healthcare stakeholders providers data partners and thought leaders
Coordinate an international advisory board of physicians and healthcare experts using their input to strengthen project quality and sector relevance
Represent Statistas healthcare rankings externally in conferences digital media and other channels
Continuously optimize project management and resource allocation structures ensuring efficient delivery across diverse healthcare markets and topics
Monitor trends in healthcare systems digital health and quality of care to identify new data opportunities and shape future product offerings
Contribute meaningfully to the overall strategic development of Statista Healthcare as a trusted provider for international healthcare quality transparency and development
Skills
Masters degree (or higher) in Health Sciences Health Economics Healthcare Management or a related field; PhD preferred
At least 8 years of professional experience in healthcare analytics strategy or consulting with a demonstrated track record of strategic leadership in complex multi-stakeholder projects - including oversight of multidisciplinary teams healthcare data initiatives and high-impact benchmarking or ranking efforts
Strong expertise in healthcare data hospital quality metrics clinical outcomes or health system performance assessment
Proven track record in leading interdisciplinary teams with 15 FTE
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills paired with a proactive mindset and high standards for methodological rigor and execution
Independent structured and reliable working style with strong organizational capabilities; resilience and adaptability in dynamic high-stakes environments
Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken; additional language skills (e.g. German) are an advantage
