Facilities Program Supervisor Trades Maintenance Supervisor directs and monitors the work performed by employees assigned to the Facilities Program and outside consultants and contractors. The Facilities Program Supervisor Trades Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the Oregon State Hospital follows all applicable rules policies and procedures in support of an effective maintenance and trades operation. This position is responsible for the short- and long-term management of all buildings and structures including recurring maintenance preventative maintenance capital improvement capital construction and processes to ensure the hospital is always operational and ready for a survey from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO/TJC) and all Oregon Building Codes and Fire Code Oregon OSHA and local jurisdictional codes.
Facilities Program Supervisor Trades Maintenance Supervisor manages the staff responsible for maintenance construction installation and repair of the buildings and site systems. This position is a principal contributor to issues of staff and patient safety the hospital Environment of Care (EOC) the life and health safety code compliance standards and the physical plant aspects of the JCAHO/TJC certification and CMS regulations.
This position requires the ability to handle a variety of complex issues related to the Junction City Campus secure hospital environment all auxiliary buildings and occupancies and the grounds and site systems. The total building area encompasses 232K sq. ft. on approximately 70 acres.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be visible in your application for consideration.
Three years of lead work foreman work or supervision.
OR
One year of experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position AND completion of an accredited vocational-training or construction-training program related to the class concept.
OR
One year of related experience and a bachelors degree in a related field.
OR
An equivalent combination of education training and experience.

Experience in commercial building maintenance methods including work order management and asset management.
Experience in managing operations staff and maintaining performance standards.

Experience in quality improvement and human resources policies and procedures.
One year of experience in lead work/supervision in a comprehensive hospital/facility setting.

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%. Review the Classification and Compensation page for more details on the classification.
