Job Title: Senior Salesforce/Fonteva Developer
Organization: American Retirement Association
Location: Hybrid (On-site 3 days/week Arlington VA)

Position Summary
Were looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce/Fonteva Developer to help streamline operations enhance member engagement and drive organizational impact. Youll work in a dynamic nonprofit environment building smart user-friendly tools that will shape how we serve our members and scale our business.
The Senior Salesforce/Fonteva Developer develops solutions within the Salesforce/Fonteva platform to meet stakeholder requirements for existing and new business needs. The developer works with project managers business analysts and IT professionals to design build test and deploy solutions including dashboards interfaces and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and solutioning for Salesforce and Fonteva platforms to meet the evolving needs of the organization
- Develop code advanced configurations and workflows to enhance the Salesforce and Fonteva environments
- Collaborate with the Fonteva implementation team to capture system intelligence and institutional knowledge ensuring a smooth launch and long-term success after implementation
- Create intuitive dashboards reports and workflows that empower staff and leadership with real-time insights
- Improve data quality through automation validation rules and ongoing maintenance
- Partner with non-technical teams to provide training and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Stay current with Salesforce and Fonteva features and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of Salesforce development experience ideally in a nonprofit or association setting
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
- Proficient in Salesforce and Fonteva development customizations and configurations
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud
- Strong skills in Apex SOQL/SOSL Lightning Experience LWC and declarative development tools (e.g. Flows)
- Experience with Salesforce managed packages particularly those with complex custom objects and data models
- Understanding of membership-based operations professional credentialing and event management workflows
- Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills
