We are looking for two HSE Supervisors to join a major industrial project within the energy sector. We are seeking professionals with solid experience in Health Safety and Environment (HSE) fluent in Portuguese and English and available to start in September 2025.

Sines Portugal.
Work Modality
On-site model
Start Date: September 2025.
Duration: 3 months.
Available Shifts:
1 profile for day shift (3 months) with possibility of extension.
1 profile for night shift (October 1st to October 31st 2025).
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all HSE processes are implemented by subcontractors in their area and immediately report any deviations from TPIT HSE standards to the Site HSE Manager.
Ensure that each subcontractor performs regular inspections of all equipment and tools in their area.
Perform periodic inspections of equipment and tools according to the site HSE inspection schedule.
Participate in internal HSE meetings and weekly HSE meetings with subcontractors HSE representatives.
Ensure the implementation of the Colour Code System in their area.
Ensure disputed or un-coded equipment is immediately removed from service and quarantined until corrected.
Monitor and take corrective action on all safety-related issues.
Be fully aware of individual responsibilities outlined in project safety procedures and ensure compliance.
Be responsible for the emergency evacuation of all personnel in the designated area in the event of an alarm (using air horn or whistle) ensuring the area is cleared before leaving.
Stop any unsafe work activities.
Ensure good housekeeping is maintained at all times.
Inspect safety barriers and signage.
Check condition and storage of fire extinguishers.
Verify the qualifications of equipment/machine operators riggers scaffolders and check plant operators and drivers licenses.
Ensure all plant and equipment is operated safely has daily checklists completed and is visibly stickered as inspected and safe to use.
Deliver safety training and coordinate toolbox talks.
Participate in National Safety Day activities such as housekeeping inspections and competitions.
Carry out safety checks on plant and equipment.
Ensure scaffolds are erected or modified only by qualified personnel and tagged as safe before use.
Enforce compliance with health and safety rules and regulations.
Regularly report the HSE system implementation status in their area to the Site HSE Manager.
Actively support the companys Zero Accident / Zero Incident policy.
Report incidents and promote a culture of incident reporting among TPIT and subcontractor supervision teams.
Requirements:
CAP 4 or CAP 6 qualification (mandatory under Portuguese HSE regulations).
2 years of experience in similar HSE roles.
Portuguese and English (professional level).
