Job Description
Job Summary (List Format): Senior Cloud Developer
- Lead the development and implementation of cloud-based technology solutions primarily on AWS.
- Design build and maintain infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
- Develop deploy and support Java Spring Boot-based cloud-native microservices within Kubernetes clusters utilizing Istio Service Mesh for traffic management and security.
- Automate existing processes to streamline deployment and create self-serve offerings for development teams to enable faster production releases.
- Conduct regular software testing debugging and quality assurance reviews to ensure robust and reliable solutions.
- Serve as subject matter expert for coding languages and solution design providing guidance and support to team members.
- Create maintain and update technical documentation and lead knowledge transfer activities within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams demonstrating strong communication coaching and mentoring skills.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Exhibit a curious resourceful and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously and handle ambiguity.
- Commit to ongoing learning and self-improvement maintaining high accountability and ownership of assigned domains.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) required.
- Minimum 5 years experience in DevOps SRE or Cloud Engineering; 3 years experience with Java Spring Boot microservices and CI/CD pipeline development.
