- Design roof floor and/or wall truss systems using MiTek Structure software.
- Interpret architectural and structural plans to develop accurate truss layouts and shop drawings.
- Collaborate with clients engineers and production teams to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
- Optimize truss designs for cost-efficiency structural performance and code compliance.
- Minimum 23 years of experience designing trusses using MiTek software (Structure Sapphire or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints.
- Proficiency in structural load paths bearing deflection uplift and code compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
