Job Description
What you will be doing:
Schedule client appointments and other necessary meetings.
Request track and organize medical records bills and related documents from healthcare providers.
Assist in the preparation and management of case files during the pre-suit phase.
Support Senior Paralegal with initial fact gathering and document review for medical malpractice matters.
Maintain accurate case management logs and update the firm’s database with incoming and outgoing records.
Communicate professionally with clients medical facilities and other third parties via phone email and written correspondence.
Perform administrative tasks such as scanning filing and data entry as needed.
Experience you will need:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and general office technology.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
Previous legal or administrative experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
