Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Education/Staff Development the Education/Staff Development Educator is responsible for planning coordinating implementing and facilitating education and training programs for professional employees clinical employees non-professional employees current or past patients students volunteers and community members in order to provide the highest quality patient care and satisfaction. This may include orientation programs; in-services of training programs including BLS ACLS PALS NRP; patient and/or community related education; on-line education programs and/or courses and oversight of CE programs with the Board of Registered Nursing or other regulatory body requirements. .

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
