Job Description

Position Summary
The School of Arts and Sciences (Deans Office) is currently seeking a student worker for the Fall 2025 term. Learn how to excel in administrative duties as well as assist in supporting the office. Help with special projects and meet new people as our front office greeter.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Answer and route phone calls file documents fax materials make copies and run errands on campus. Daily 60% Greet and assist office visitors by answering questions and directing them to appropriate staff or departments. Daily 15% Type letters forms and other materials as assigned. As needed Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing correspondence. Daily 10% Assist in maintaining bulletin boards and updating digital displays in PMC McFadden and STC buildings. Weekly 10% Review syllabi for accuracy and formatting corrections. Per semester Help organize and prepare for School of Arts & Sciences events including setup and logistics. Monthly 5% Provide clerical or administrative assistance to SOAS faculty as requested. As needed Perform additional tasks as delegated by the supervisor. As needed
