Job Summary
The Academic Advisor in the College of the Arts & Sciences serves undergraduate students in providing comprehensive and focused advising support to meet degree requirements and achieve academic success. This position is responsible for supporting students in navigating educational requirements in 30 major and minor studies the University Core requirements and advising the Universitys undeclared student population. Primary responsibilities include registering students advising students regarding curriculum and degree requirements and referring students to departmental and University resources. Academic Advisors collaborate with campus partners faculty and academic departments to ensure timely and accurate information in support of student success. The Academic Advisor reports to the Associate Dean for Students in the College of Arts & Sciences and is a strategic liaison with the Academic Coordinators within the College.
