What were looking for
A Traveling Project Superintendent who is passionate about commercial construction values quality and integrity understands the importance of collaboration process governance and enjoys diving deep into business processes. Projects would include ground up retail service stores car washes and other commercial projects of various construction types.
Major expectations & accountabilities
- Take complete and total charge of the day-to-day field operations for the project while meeting management and customer objectives for safety quality and schedule.
- Understand project scope budget (costs) and sub-contractor scopes of works to manage completion of project within budget.
- Utilize management tools such as daily reports safety inspections submittal logs change order logs quality control logs and project schedules.
- Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project which includes contractors sub-contractors and labor force to ensure work complies with plans specifications standards and meets contract requirements
- Utilize appropriate business software including Procore Bluebeam Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Microsoft Project Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel 100% of the time as required by project locations.
What youll need to be successful
At least five (5) years related experience with a general contractor with knowledge of all construction types.
- Direct supervisory experience over construction crews ranging in size from 10 to 50 field personnel.
- Ability and desire to travel across the Continental US.
Qualifications that can set you apart
- OSHA 30 and CPR certifications.
- 24 year degree in Construction Management from an accredited college or university.
- Results-orientated with proven ability to organize plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Solid reputation for building excellent relationships with internal and external customers.
