We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Director International Public Affairs Strategy.
Group Public Affairs (GPA) co-ordinates HSBCs work on public policy issues affecting the bank. GPA works closely with Global Businesses and Functions and supports the Group Chief Executive and Group Chairman and other senior executives as necessary. The postholder reports to the Group Head of Public Affairs and works in close partnership with colleagues across the function and the Group to track international political and policy developments and to help shape and execute strategic external engagement to build relationships support a joined-up approach across the Groups public affairs priorities promote understanding of the firm and manage risks to the firms business strategy. The role holder will promote HSBC as a valued interlocutor on policy issues and equip senior executives with messages and insights to enable them to represent HSBCs interests.
