Late Shift - Sunday - Thursday (Any 5 from 7) 17:00 - 01:30

Salary 32464 Plus shift allowance

If you are as ambitious as we are and youre looking to progress a career in warehouse operations join us as an admin based Warehouse Team Leader at our Grantham Depot.

Youll be responsible for ensuring your team of warehouse administrators are working safely and efficiently and that key targets are being achieved. You will lead by example and drive high performance through great communication teamwork and building strong working relationships. You will work closely with the shift manager to plan workload and resource effectively as well as developing the skills of your team members to support their career aspirations and increase shift capability. Theres rotas and day to day administration to complete as part of this role so youll need an eye for detail and have the ability to work accurately and in a timely manner.

You will enjoy working in a busy role which requires you to think on your feet and pro-actively problem solve - dealing with system-based challenges as they arise escalating to more senior managers if necessary. You will want to make a difference and proactively look for ways to make improvements and challenge current ways of working.

To join us as an admin based Warehouse Team Leader you will have previous experience of leading a team in a fast paced time pressured environment. Experience within a warehouse operation would be advantageous but is not essential. Whats key is your ability and desire to learn - understanding the business and operation quickly.

Responsibilities

• To be pro-active regarding self-development.
• To gain a better understanding of the Grantham operation.
• To understand the depot KPIs and be actively involved in KPI meetings when required.
• To complete Team Leader training sessions and courses provided by the company.
• To be involved in the training and coaching of new personnel.
• To gain an understanding and be involved in the return to work process.
• To gain an understanding of the QC process and waste management (animal by-products)
• To demonstrate a One Brakes mentality and our values.
• To understand the benefits of and participate in Team Huddles.
• To demonstrate an awareness of the Intranet and Email systems and acceptable usage.
• System training (SAP / Voice / O365).
• H&S Committee involvement and participation including SAM checking.
• Manage the team rotas & check holiday availability.
