Test Engineer
Aversan Inc.() is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace defence and space industries.We are currently seeking a qualified Test Engineer. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop advanced automated test stations for satellite antenna production.
Location:Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue QC
Job Type: Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Interface with design team.
- Analysis of test requirements.
- Definition of test methods and techniques.
- Definition of test and test data processing resources.
- Drafting of test plans procedures and reports.
- Development of software applications and automatic RF test and measurement procedures.
- Coding and validation of test sequences.
- Test follow-up and operations support according to required specialization:
- RF in PIM Nearfield or Compact Test Range
- RF in Active Electronics Burn-In
- Power in Electronic Power Converters
- Metrology in flight unit alignment
- Mechanics for thermal testing
Basic Qualifications
- Sc. or equivalent in electrical engineering or physics.
- Must have a background in electrical engineering or physics with a strong foundation in electromagnetics or microwaves as well as good programming skills.
- Minimum 2 years experience.
- Sense of initiative good team coordination skills and a desire to improve test techniques.
