Under the guidance of the Front of House Management Team our Hosts play a key role in creating a memorable guest experience from the moment guests arrive. With professionalism and attention to detail Hosts help ensure a smooth efficient and welcoming environment by managing guest flow optimizing seating capacity and communicating effectively with team members.
What Youll Do:
- Greet every guest with a warm welcoming presenceboth in person and over the phoneeven during the busiest times.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with Servers Bartenders and Managers to maintain steady and efficient guest flow throughout the restaurant.
- Escort guests to their tables while engaging in friendly and professional conversation.
- Take reservations accurately and efficiently both over the phone and in person with attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean organized and fully stocked front entrance host stand and surrounding areasunderstanding that first impressions matter.
- Quickly become familiar with all table numbers and maintain awareness of seating arrangements and server sections.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications :
- Proven prior experience in a similar position
- Valid Smart Serve Certification Required
- High attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service restaurant experience considered an asset
- Flexibly availability for evenings weekends and holidays required.
