The purpose of this job is to prepare and file store license applications and renewals.
Essential Functions
- Prepare and file store license applications and renewals including gross receipts analysis to determine renewal fees
- Perform duties associated with payment accounting and documentation of tax or license liabilities
- Work with third party property tax provider to manage payments and journal entries
- Assist in reconciling licensing business tax gross receipts and property tax budgets
- Help prepare economic impact study data requests
- Model behaviors that support the companys common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules regulations policies and procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Associate degree required
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related business field preferred
- Minimum one year multi-state general retail licensing experience preferred
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Familiarity with Lawson or Infor preferred
- Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction and Canadian tax and licensing laws
- Excellent analytical critical thinking and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to make decisions and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to set priorities multitask meet deadlines and resolve problems with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet deadlines
