Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analysis and reporting of overall system performance of Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) Flight Tests which also involves the planning and execution phases of flight and ground tests.
• Apply engineering knowledge and specialized technical training to the system performance evaluation of the AMRAAM missile to include all phases of flight from pre-launch to intercept and includes all subsystems of the missile: aircraft interface and data link power propulsion inertial navigation system guidance autopilot radar and seeker automated data processing and fuzing.
• Write report and advise on hardware and software anomalies observed during flight test analysis for use to highlight areas for future development.
• Perform anomaly investigations and comparative analysis as required.
• Understand the application of computer tools and analysis aids necessary for full analysis and reporting.

Work Environment:

• Location: 960 John Sims Parkway Niceville Florida

• Travel Requirements: This position will require travel of 25% with potential surge to 50% to support end users located at various DoD ranges & labs located across the US as well as some foreign travel.
• Working Hours: Standard working hours with flex time available.

Qualifications:

Required:

• The ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
• Engineering degree in Electrical Aerospace Mechanical or Systems Engineering and 2 years of related experience
• Familiarity with Excel and Access Query building

Desired:

• Programming ability is highly desired (C/C and Matlab)
• Familiarity with Linux command line and scripting
• Aircraft Integration or Flight Test experience

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus relocation benefits short term incentives long term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
