Are you passionate about shaping workplace culture driving leadership capability and creating meaningful employee experiences WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) is looking for a dynamic and strategicEmployee Experience Leadto join our People and Culture team.
In this pivotal role youll be the architect of initiatives that bring our values Courage Humility Respect Wisdom and Integrity to life across the organisation. Youll work closely with leaders at all levels to embed a high-performance culture champion diversity and inclusion and deliver programs that elevate leadership engagement and organisational health.

Location: WAPHA Head Office Level 2 1 Hood Street Subiaco (Hybrid Role)
Employment Type: Full-time Maximum term contract for 2 years
Salary: Band 6 ($140k-$160k Plus 12% Superannuation)
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of WAPHAs Employee Experience strategy to enhance engagement and organisational culture
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives that embed WAPHAs values and signature behaviours
- Develop and deliver leadership development programs across all levels of the organisation
- Implement a talent management framework including succession planning and capability building
- Partner with leaders to support workforce planning performance management and change agility
- Champion diversity equity and inclusion initiatives aligned with WAPHAs BELONG strategy
- Analyse employee feedback and engagement data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Lead the development and communication of WAPHAs Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the Employee Experience Officer
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between people strategy and business outcomes
- Oversee the annual performance management cycle ensuring alignment with WAPHAs Aspire Achieve framework
- Lead the design and implementation of workforce development initiatives to address talent gaps and support retention
- Guide the delivery of fit-for-purpose learning programs aligned with legislative requirements and strategic goals
About you
To be considered for this role candidates must meet the following selection criteria:
Essential experience and education
- Relevant tertiary qualification and senior-level experience
- Proven success leading change and transformation initiatives
- Confident facilitator and trusted communicator across all levels
- Hands-on experience in culture DEI and employee experience programs
- Strategic thinker with strong judgement and resilience
- Skilled in designing people strategies that drive performance
- Experienced in leadership development engagement and succession planning
- Commercially minded with the ability to link people strategy to business outcomes
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills for organisational development
- Comfortable using digital learning platforms and LMS tools
- Understanding of the healthcare sector is a plus
