We are accessible and responsive and actively seek their input to serve their needs RoleThe Behavior Technician implements the behavior analysis educational and treatment programs of individual children in the classroom under the direction of the Director of Special Education Director of Clinical and Educational Services classroom teacher or designated Behavior Analyst. The behavior technician collects data within individual child measurement systems and participates in data management. The classroom behavior technician will participate as a member of student treatment teams in clinics attend training and help make lesson Work Duties and ResponsibilitiesProtect the rights and dignities of individuals with developmental disabilities and extend these rights and dignities to family members or and complies with all safety programs and policies to maintain a safe work environment for employees consumers family members and to organizational quality initiatives by participating in programs that assure quality improvements and team instructional strategies consistently and behavioral measurement systems and collects any medical physical or other changes in student status to the teacher BA and nursing positive supportive and proactive teaching programs at all classroom activities when the Classroom Teacher is absent as designated by the Special Education Director Program Director or Classroom as part of a team to support all students classrooms and staff to promote a safe and enriched learning any/all medical/physical injuries/ for any/all evacuation for all aspects of the childs educational program including self-care and toileting skills to promote the autonomy and dignity of child educational programs in inclusive settings in public education or other education with transitions inclusion opportunities for students and special with the generalization of skills to the community and various for performing other duties and job assignments as required by the Director BA and Classroom & SkillsAssociates degree or 60 college credits or TA/Paraprofessional degree working with children in a teaching capacity is have valid drivers license automobile insurance and own vehicle to be used as directed and when needed for to work as part of a communication -solving to understand and follow to lift/move heavy to stand for long Relationships:Internal: frequentPathways students and employees Director of Clinical and Educational Services Director of Special Education/ RequirementsAbility to deal with the broad range of needs presented by children with autism including significant problem behaviors.
