POSITION PURPOSE

The Pricing Associateprovides support to in-store operations involving Point of Sale product pricing accuracy product scan authorization scale pricing shelf labels and/or signage and frequent shopper loyalty supported promotions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  1. *Investigates and provides solutions to reported pricing concerns from stores and Category Management team.
  2. *Addresses reported item pricing discrepancies (regular or advertised) pack size and/or product size changes and any unauthorized and/or not on file items.
  3. *Researches and evaluates scheduled price record changes for errors and inconsistencies.
  4. *Audits weekly ads fliers circulars and supporting shelf labels to ensure imaging and pricing accuracy.
  5. *Generates and communicates emergency pricing and signage updates.
  6. *Gathers and compiles data and information from various sources to generate data entry error reports.
  7. *Provides support to Category Managers and assistants with emergency POS or ePLUM scale pricing updates.
  8. *Provides support to Store Merchandising team with tag generation and distribution.
  9. *Assists stores with any concerns or questions pertaining to;
  10. POS ePLUM scales shelf tag and/or signage and/or advertising concerns. Missing or misprinted shelf tags and/or signage.
  11. Promotional pricing (Retalix HQ Loyalty)
  12. Catalina and other coupons
  13. WIC
  14. Food StampEligibility

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. and a minimum of one or more (1) years of related data coordination and/or data entry experience.
  2. Scan Coordinator background is a plus.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
  1. Microsoft Office Suite.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  1. Computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Windows and associated MS Office email word-processing and spreadsheet applications such as Outlook Word and Excel.
  2. Detail-oriented and organized with an emphasis on prioritization .
  3. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  4. Ability to work independently from written and/or verbal instructions with little supervision.
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS -Team members may occasionally experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

  1. Sitting; frequent sedentary work
  2. Viewing computer monitor.
  3. Keyboarding.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in a normal ON-SITE business office environment.
