About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and ensure consistent use of The Learning Experience curriculum including:
- Lesson plans
- Circle time activities
- Leap Interactive Boards
- Workbooks & Journals
- Enrichment kits
- Phonics Sign Language and Spanish
- Know Me Books Chatter Box and more
- Understanding and Utilizing TLE Characters in Curriculum.
- Ensure teachers effectively understand and utilize the Playground Manual to ensure safe and engaging outdoor activities.
- Train staff on and support the implementation of the Make Believe Boulevard Manual to maximize experiential learning opportunities.
- Train teachers on state and TLE health & safety guidelines
- Coach and support teachers in preparing for parent-teacher conferences
- Oversee child portfolio development with documentation of learning (photos work samples assessments)
- Conduct regular child assessments and ensure proper recording in child files
- Assist teachers in planning developmentally appropriate lessons and classroom environments
- Observe classrooms regularly and provide feedback to support instructional quality
- Coordinate and lead professional development sessions
- Help onboard new teaching staff with curriculum and classroom routines
- Minimum 6 years of classroom experience with at least 3 years as a Lead Teacher.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required).
- In-depth understanding of child development curriculum planning and early learning standards.
- Strong leadership mentoring and organizational skills.
- Able to communicate with parents effectively.
- Ability to train and motivate a team of teachers while promoting a positive culture.
- Experience with lesson planning tools classroom technology (Leap Boards) and educational documentation.
- CPR and first AID drug test TB Test and state certifications.
- Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors and outdoors.
- Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed including teacher lead follow-up etc.
