The Vice President of Health & Wellness provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all clinical programs across our 26 memory care communities in 11 states. The VP of Health & Wellness ensures consistent high-quality care delivery regulatory compliance and the advancement of clinical standards across the company. As a key member of the senior leadership team the VP partners closely with operations to drive care excellence and resident outcomes.
- Provide strategic clinical leadership across all communities to ensure consistent person-centered care and positive wellbeing.
- Lead mentor and develop a team of three Regional Directors of Health & Wellness to support community-level clinical operations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations including survey readiness and response.
- Analyze care data and trends to identify areas of risk improvement and opportunity.
- Develop and implement standardized care policies procedures and best practices across the organization.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on health & wellness matters to the executive team contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with operations and HR on training health & wellness staffing models and performance improvement initiatives.
- Drive quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) efforts and ensure appropriate health & wellness documentation practices.
- Support new community openings or acquisitions from a health & wellness integration perspective.
Resident Wellbeing
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical programs that support holistic resident wellbeing addressing physical emotional cognitive and social health needs.
- Ensure standardization in care standards and practices across all communities supporting both preventative and responsive care models.
- Partner with Executive Directors and Directors of Health & Wellness to promote individualized service plans ongoing resident assessments and proactive interventions.
- Monitor key wellbeing indicators (fall frequency behaviors hospitalization weight changes medication adherence etc..) to identify trends and lead targeted improvement initiatives.
- Provide clinical guidance in complex resident situations including behavior management chronic disease care dementia support and end-of-life planning.
- Stay current on best practices and innovations in memory care and incorporate them into organizational strategy where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license; BSN required MSN or related graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of clinical leadership experience with at least 5 years in a multi-site role within assisted living senior living or long-term health & wellness.
- Strong knowledge of clinical regulations senior health & wellness standards and risk mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing regional or field-based clinical teams.
