About the role:

This is a unique permanent opportunity for a Senior BA with experience in risk management and regulatory compliance. There are several roles available covering various work streams such as working on Regulatory initiatives related to CPS230 GICOP and ASIC as well as process improvement and optimisation initiatives.

You will have the opportunity to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around 290 like-minded analysts where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) as well as initiatives using traditional project delivery models.

What youll do:

  • Work closely with squad / project members including but not limited to Delivery lead Scrum Master Developers Tech Leads and Business stakeholders to run workshops; identify capture plan document and deliver business requirements
  • Create detailed user stories to support delivery.
  • Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to validate business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
  • Raise and support mitigation and resolution of risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.
  • Suncorp offers a hybrid way of working where you will be expected to be in the office approx. 2 days per week.

What youll bring:

  • Minimum 4 years senior business analysis experience within Regulatory Risk and/or Compliance from a large organisation; experience in Business Continuity Critical Operations Supplier Management Control Automation or Privacy from a risk standpoint would be highly regarded
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Understanding of regulatory requirements and risk assessment to ensure alignment with APRA CPS230 and GICOP.
  • Ability to work with the SIAM / Identity management (advantageous)
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage and collaborate with various stakeholders involved in supplier management across Suncorp Group
  • Requirements Gathering: Proficiency in eliciting analysing and documenting requirements related to supplier management processes including ongoing performance and compliance with APRA CPS230.
  • Process Mapping: Skill in mapping current and future state business processes involved in supplier management to support any organisational change identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Change Management awareness: Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies to support the Change Manager to effectively plan and implement organisational changes related to supplier management.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyse data related to supplier performance compliance and risk to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas and requirements to diverse stakeholders and facilitate effective collaboration.
