We are looking for a Data Steward MDM (Master Data Management) to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world we provide unmatched products services and solutions to our clients.

As the Data Steward MDM reporting to the Manager MDM Architect you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality master data (accounts and contacts) overseeing daily data management operations and driving continual improvements in data quality and MDM processes.

A Day in the Life

  • Perform daily monitoring and management of MDM jobs and data flows.
  • Identify investigate and resolve mastering/data issues and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (e.g. Salesforce users) to ensure data quality and process alignment.
  • Support incident management data remediation and quality assurance/testing for bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Track KPIs and recommend process automation and improvements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in MDM and data governance assisting with stakeholder demos and issue resolution.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of data processes tools and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business computer science information systems or a related field.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience with MDM solutions (preferably for accounts clients or contacts).
  • Experience with or knowledge of Semarchy (MDM) Postgres Snowflake and AWS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as JIRA GIT or Jenkins is advantageous.

Knowledge and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of MDM capabilities data architecture and data flow analysis.
  • Working knowledge of ANSI SQL and relational database features (e.g. stored procedures query optimization).
  • Proven ability to trace complex data issues across systems and platforms.
  • Experience in data governance and best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical documentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $62600 - $86000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individuals knowledge skills experience equity with other team members and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
