Job Description

  • Learn and support the planned process safety studies.
  • Support process safety activities and handling of instruments such as Reaction calorimeter (RC1) DSC TSU/RSD ARC Phi Tec II Etc.
  • Support powder safety activities and handling instruments such as Minimum ignition Energy Minimum Ignition Temperature Powder Volume Resistivity Charge Decay Analyzer Phi Tec I Etc.
  • Accountable for new equipment / Instrument installation and its readiness
  • Prepare safety guidelines document for Process Safety & Powder Safety.
  • Identifying the risks and analyzing the experiments performed.
  • To prepare and support the process safety reports.
  • To comply with Good Scientific Practice and ability to write the electronic lab note book.
  • Get trained in all general Sop and Sops related to Process safety lab and Powder safety.
  • To comply with quality audit performed by compliance team and share the responses for the audit findings within the specified time.
  • Provide technical/ Process safety support for R&D and Plant during HAZOP for effective scale up.
  • Support CRD chemists for their Process safety studies for scale up batches
  • Compliance to departmental SOPs best practice guidance and workflows especially with respect to accurate and compliant lab notebook and process safety documentation compliance.
  • Participate in process engineering / safety reviews.
  • Apply established processes and procedures and suggest areas for continuous improvement.
  • Always demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus.
  • Take ownership for assigned projects and other duties.

Work Closely with Chemical research development & across PGS and Pharmsci on the Process Safety requirements

Qualification:
