Working hours: Monday Friday 8:30-4:30

Job summary What to expect:

As an Inside Sales Business Development Manager in our Sales department you will manage day-to-day activities and sales to all customers within your territory acting as a point of contact between CooperVision and the customer.

  • Youllhave outstanding knowledge of CooperVisions products clinical and technical information product strategy market and commercial positioning and brand messages empowering you to assist customers in choosing those that best suit their needs as well as to deliver training programmes to retail staff on our products.
  • Using this knowledge youll alsoorganise and execute clinical training in liaison with the Professional Services team to improve clinical knowledge of employees and build brand loyalty.
  • Youll service our customer base through a blended strategy of virtual phonecall and occasional face-to-face meetings staying in touch also with customer services to ensure service levels are acceptable and maintained
  • To attend all sales meetings to ensure understanding of Company direction action plans and required performance in different areas of work and represent us at conferences seminars and exhibitions
  • You will accurately complete all reporting and administrative duties as needed including the upkeep of the designated CRM system and a complete set of customer records for the designated area to ensure all knowledge is shared for the company benefit.

About you:

We are looking for someone with

  • Demonstratable experience in defining and achieving sales results.
  • Awareness and ability to make a positive impact with prospective and existing customers
  • The ability to be results oriented entrepreneurial tenacious and resilient and toanticipate understand prioritize and meet customer needs
  • The ability to adapt to a changing work environment; various situations individuals and/or groups on a daily basis.
  • The ability to make presentations to various sized customer groups within WebEx on-line conferencing.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to make presentations to various sized customer groups within WebEx on-line conferencing.
  • Comfort to makean average of 40 phone calls per day to reach and open discussions with decision makers.

Experience:

  • Recent experience within a customer facing role.
  • Demonstrable experience in defining and achieving sales results through demonstration of strong commercial / business acumen
  • Minimum one to twoyears of sales experience preferably in the optical industry or related medical/technical healthcare field.
  • Computer literacy including Email Excel Word and PowerPoint essential.
