The Citadel The Military College of South Carolina is looking for an Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations to help assist with the daily operations of our athletic facilities game day events rentals and capital projects. Below is some of the day-to-day functions of this role:
Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED and 2 years related experience is required. Must have a valid drivers knowledge of power equipment used to perform grounds maintenance. Ability to receive written job orders and verbal instructions related to job have full use of all extremities and be able to stoop kneel bend and work from ladders scaffolding and roofs. Must be able to lift 70 lbs and carry for a distance of 15 ft. and work in confined spaces and poorly ventilated spaces. Work conditions may require working in adverse weather conditions and varying temperatures. Some overtime weekend and holiday work required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior trade school education and previous experience with turf horticulture and/or landscape maintenance is preferred. Two (2) years of experience in field maintenance is also preferred.
