The Hilton Boston Park Plaza is looking for their next Event Ambassador.
This hotel features a recent $100 million landmark transformation of guestrooms meeting and public spaces. Other notable features include 70000 square feet of flexible renovated function space supporting groups of 10-2200. With 1060 guestrooms and three in-house dining options.
Our ideal candidate possesses a minimum of one years customer service experience in hotels event coordination or relatable field. They demonstrate a solid foundation of basic computer skills. Candidates must be available to work both AM and PM shifts without restriction including weekdays weekends and holidays as needed.
Shift Pattern: Monday-Sunday As early for AM shifts and as Late for pm shifts. Availability is a must to adjust days and times to accommodate meetings and events for client engagement.
Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour

What will I be doing:
As an Event Ambassador you would be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to department managers in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Directly serve on site group and catering customers in a proactive manner
To organize plan and prioritize your duties by developing plans and goals
Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone email written documents or in person
Demonstrate knowledge of job systems products booking systems and processes
Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints settling disputes and resolving grievances and conflicts
Selling and influencing both internal and external clients
Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution
Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs providing direction and guidance feedback and individual coaching when needed
Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
Other duties as necessary based on business needs
