Must current hold and have the ability to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our IT infrastructure and cloud services team in support of a big data platform this role you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions to support enterprise applications and business operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure scalable and high-performing cloud environments leveraging your deep knowledge of Oracle products and cloud architecture best practices. This is an excellent opportunity for a cloud professional to contribute to digital transformation initiatives within the IC customer space.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience with IaaS services including compute storage networking FaaS identity and access management.Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices for deploying scalable and secure cloud environments
  • Experience with Oracle databases (on-premise and cloud) including provisioning configuration backup and recovery
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell for automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
  • Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools for managing OCI resources
  • Solid understanding of network protocols firewalls VPNs and cloud security principles
  • Ability to monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in OCI environments
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent verbal and written communication skills



Responsibilities

Desired Skills:

  • OCI certifications (e.g. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate/Professional)
  • Experience migrating on-premise applications and databases to Oracle Cloud
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud ERP HCM or other Oracle SaaS applications
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) in OCI environments
  • Experience integrating OCI with third-party services or hybrid cloud architectures
  • Experience with other public cloud providers (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) for multi-cloud strategy
  • Understanding of Oracle Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud Services
  • Exposure to monitoring tools like Oracle Cloud Monitoring Grafana or Prometheus
  • Agile or Scrum project experience

Required Credentials and Experience:

  • Must possess a TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors Degree in engineering computer science Business or related discipline and 14 years of relevant experience

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87000 to $178100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
