Job Description

Heres What You Need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
  • 6 Months Related Experience Preferred
  • 6 Months Customer Service Preferred
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required

Skills

  • Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact maturity and a professional attitude.
  • Excellent verbal communication.
  • Ability to read write speak and understand the English language.
  • Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful.
  • Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal verbal and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.

What You Will Do:

  • Transports patientsby the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.
  • Deliver and pick uppatient care equipment supplies mail patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital.
  • Maintain par levelsand cleans equipment in designated areas.
  • Act as central dispatcherfor Mission Control department.
  • Monitors systems:RTLS security cameras HUGS fire panel generator annunciator medical gas and other systems associated with patient and materials movement.
  • Secures necessary maintenanceand repair of equipment and maintains adequate stock levels of supplies. May assist with inventory and ordering rental equipment furniture and/or supplies for Mission Control.
  • Adheres toBody Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.
  • Willingly acceptsadditional duties and tasks assigned by leadership.
  • Assists patientsin dressing appropriately for procedures.
  • Deliver patient conciergeservices.
