We are seeking a detail-oriented strategic and collaborativeMaster Schedulerto lead our production scheduling efforts. This role is critical in aligning manufacturing capacity with customer demand and inventory goals to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery.
Develop maintain and adjust the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to support customer requirements inventory targets and manufacturing capabilities.
Collaborate with Sales Operations and Procurement teams to align schedules with capacity and material availability.
Analyze demand forecasts inventory levels lead times and production capacity to plan work orders and optimize throughput.
Monitor and communicate schedule adherence adjusting as needed to meet delivery commitments.
Coordinate with purchasing and materials teams to ensure timely arrival of raw materials and components.
Identify risks in the production schedule and proactively recommend solutions to avoid delays or bottlenecks.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning accuracy lead time reduction and production efficiency.
Maintain ERP system data accuracy for work orders schedules and BOMs.
Report on KPIs including schedule attainment OTIF (on time in full) and capacity utilization.
Bachelors degree in Operations Management Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years of experience in production scheduling or planning preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Epicor etc.) and MS Excel.
APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferred.
Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and capacity planning.
Experience in make-to-order or mixed-mode manufacturing.
Familiarity with S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes.
Typical office environment with time spent on the production floor.
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
Must be able to lift or move materials up to 25 lbs.
