Job Description:
The Texas General Land Office (GLO) is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the coordination and successful delivery of a Microsoft 365 cross-tenant migration. The role involves managing a complex technical project alongside a selected vendor focusing on ensuring the GLOs tenant is optimized secure compliant and aligned with Microsoft best practices and federal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the project lead for GLO s M365 cross-tenant migration initiative.
Drive successful delivery of technical milestones and risk mitigation plans.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors for alignment and progress tracking.
Ensure the GLO M365 tenant is secure compliant (FedRAMP CJIS NIST 800-53) and well-documented.
Oversee the implementation of best practices across Azure AD/Entra ID IAM and cloud infrastructure.
Manage project risks dependencies and deliverables in an agile/hybrid environment.
Minimum Required Skills:
8 years of Agile/Hybrid project delivery experience
5 years of cross-functional team coordination
5 years of technical risk and dependency management
4 years of enterprise cloud migration (M365 Google Workspace or similar)
3 years of IAM in cloud environments
1 year preferred: Microsoft 365 tenant migration experience
1 year preferred: Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
