Responsibilities: - Perform accurate transaction categorization and data entry in QuickBooks Online for multiple small business clients across various industries
- Maintain clean well-organized financial records to ensure seamless month-end reporting and client satisfaction
- Execute limited journal entries as needed to ensure accurate and compliant financial records
- Handle specialized cleanup services for clients who are multiple years behind on their bookkeeping bringing them current and organized
- Communicate professionally with clients via email regarding bookkeeping questions updates and financial record inquiries
- Prepare comprehensive financial records to a professional standard suitable for tax accountants and CPAs to seamlessly take over
- Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously adapting to varying transaction volumes and business needs
- Support business growth by maintaining high-quality standards that enable client retention and referrals
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online platform with hands-on experience navigating all key features
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles including debits credits and basic financial statement concepts
- Proven experience with transaction categorization data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple client relationships simultaneously
- Excellent written communication skills for professional email correspondence with clients
- Experience with bookkeeping cleanup and catch-up work strongly preferred
- QuickBooks certification preferred but not required for candidates with strong practical experience
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills to handle multiple small business accounts
- Comfortable working with small business clients ranging from solo entrepreneurs to companies with up to 20 employees
- Ability to adapt to varying transaction volumes and client needs while maintaining consistent quality standards
