About the Role:
Are you passionate about design and driven by sales success As a Sales & Design Specialist at Herman Miller youll be the face of a brand that has defined modern furniture for over a century. Youll guide clients through a personalized journeyblending your design sensibility with consultative selling to help them create spaces that support their wellness and productivity.
This is more than a retail roleits a chance to become a trusted advisor and design consultant for clients who value quality ergonomics and timeless style. Youll report directly to the General Manager and play a key role in driving the stores success.
What Youll Do:
Inspire and educate clients through in-store demonstrations and personalized consultations
Design tailored solutions that align with clients needs preferences and wellness goals
Drive sales by building strong client relationships and proactively following up on leads
Collaborate with the A&D (Architecture & Design) community to grow brand awareness and partnerships
Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure a premium store experience
Process transactions and manage orders with accuracy and efficiency
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience in retail sales interior design or client-facing design consultation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design/rendering tools
Ability to lift/move items over 20 lbs and adhere to safety protocols
Flexibility to work weekends holidays and extended hours as needed
