Job Description
In this role you will be responsible for shipping world-class user experiences and act as the voice of our end-users. You will join a dynamic quality engineering team responsible for Apples latest products to ensure magnificent access using wireless technology that drive an outstanding user experience and delight our this position you will need to be self-motivated with strong technical and interpersonal skills. Day to day tasks will involve hands-on adversarial testing of iOS iPadOS watchOS tvOS and addition to manual testing responsibilities will include design and implementation of test plans and test cases risk analysis customer impact analysis cross-functional testing coordination and integration testing across the system.
- 4 years of experience working as a Software QA engineer in wireless domain
- Familiarity with 802.11 WLAN/WiFi (a b g n ac ax be) and/or Bluetooth and/or Networking protocols basics (TCP/IP UDP..)
- Experience in creating lab setups to capture performance metrics debug performance issues and drive optimizations across software stack.
- Write Python automation using an internally developed and proprietary automatic framework
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Academic knowledge of ML/NLP tools
- Ability to quickly prototype ideas / solutions perform critical analysis and use creative approaches for solving complex problems
- Ability to investigate debug and triage using host plus sniffer logs and independently work towards results
