Gallery Fellowship Description

Cerebral Vortex led by Artist-in-Residence Kenton Brett will be a retrospective on the Gallery Fellows creative process told through time lapse and stop-motion animation. Gallery Fellows should be interested in camera technology lighting prop construction painting and live performance (or some combination of these disciplines). Gallery Fellows will build set props and backgrounds in the cameras eye during Studio Sessions. This footage will be edited to bloom morph and melt finally ending at its beginning to make an infinite loop and the video will be shown during public exhibition.


Key Learning Goals:

ArtWorks Your Name Here Gallery Fellowship Program is a transformative free educational experience designed for young artists ages 16-24 to expand their creative horizons through hands-on mentorship with accomplished Artists-in-Residence. Through personalized guidance professional development and collaborative opportunities the program fosters artistic growth in an inclusive and supportive environment. Participants gain valuable gallery experience experiment with new techniques and showcase their work in a group exhibition with the opportunity to sell their pieces retaining 90% of any sales. This unique fellowship empowers emerging artists to connect with the community and step confidently into the professional art world.


Gallery Fellowship Requirements

Gallery Fellowship Schedule

Mandatory Studio Sessions: October 20 December 12 2025 (Mondays/Wednesdays 4-7pm)

Mandatory Installation & PD Sessions: January-7pm

Exhibition Duration: January 30 2026 - Marchweeks

Mandatory Opening: Friday January-7pm

Mandatory De-Install: Thursday March-7pm
