Essential Duties:
- Support production by leading troubleshooting efforts during process product and equipment problems.
- Assess and document existing processes. Implement changes to these processes and develop new processes as needed to evaluate the effectiveness of enhanced safety product quality and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain process documentation systems to ensure that procedures are clearly stated in the correct format and can be accessed with minimal difficulty.
- Monitor daily production and collect and analyze data to recognize trends and potential problem areas. Develop a proactive approach to problem-solving through the early identification and understanding of problem areas.
- Utilize recognized statistical process control techniques and data analytic tools to develop maintain and present required reports. Use these reports to detail the effectiveness of existing processes or to support the need for the introduction of new processes/procedures.
- Interact with the Sales group and end-use customer base to improve satisfaction through product quality optimization and efficient customer claim support.
- Interface with Engineering Production Quality Control as well as other support groups to define and develop required processes.
- Interact closely with the New Product Development group to assist in the implementation and scale-up of new products on the production lines.
- Conduct studies pertaining to quality improvement increased productivity and cost reduction.
- Assist in the development of capital expenditure requests as needed supplying cost information and supporting documentation.Skills & Qualifications Required:

Education & Experience Required:
- BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 0-2 years experience.
