Job Description
The Americas Operations team at Apple is looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate for the role of Supply Demand Allocation Execution Planner. The role is an opportunity for a self-driven individual to utilize their business and planning support skills to deliver value-added operational support to the Americas Supply Demand Execution team. The Allocation Execution Planner ensures proper product allocation execution through the matching of supply and demand between across our supply chain distribution sites while following direction provided by the SDM will join a team that executes plans across all channels of distribution in over 80 countries for a current or future product line. Placement will be made at the time of hire in any of Apples product line offerings across Mac iPad iPhone Apple Watch Vision Pro and Accessories.
- 3 years experience in the areas of operations supply chain data management finance procurement consulting
- Consistent record of leading diverse & complex projects combined with the ability to execute tactical activities & tasks
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and collaboration abilities
- Confidence in managing and navigating ambiguity successfully
- Demonstrated ability in business process re-engineering with an acute attention to detail and continuous innovation
- Excellent forward thinking capabilities able to see beyond the current state proactively identifying risks/opportunities
- Proven experience working optimally in a matrixed and global organization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize data and drive solutions based on logic and insights
- Independently solve routine problems while seeking guidance on more complex issues
- Proficiency in computer science fundamentals including data structures algorithms and software development enhancing problem-solving capabilities and project efficiency a plus.
- Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Business Finance Economics Marketing Engineering or relevant field required. MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.
- Present defend and influence product line business plans to senior executive leadership both internal/external to Apple and cross-functional stakeholders on a weekly basis.
- Influence and triangulate cross-functional alignment within a matrixed organization
- Evaluate supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate consumer impact including ad-hoc problem solving during unprecedented events.
- Drive influence and develop long-term strategic initiatives that shape the future of Apples supply chain and omnichannel roadmap.
- Plan drive and execute New Product Introduction operational activities ensuring world-class customer experience across all of Apples routes to market.
- Identify process improvement opportunities (tools workstreams systems) and drive solutions from conception through implementation.
- Responsible for supply execution of hundreds of millions of units between channels and reseller partners to maximize financial results and customer experience.
- Influence and manage operations across 50 global OEMs lifting out of 10 origin locations.
- Analyze backlog data against posted allocation guidelines and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
- Provide program support and make routine allocation decisions to ensure customer quotes commitments and revenue goals are met.
- Maximize daily billings per posted allocation direction
- Execute allocations to support established operational metrics and performance goals.
- Drive innovation opportunities within our supply chain aimed towards achieving Apples Sustainability and eco-friendly goals of Carbon Neutrality throughout our supply chain by 2030.
