Job Summary
Drive the build and maintenance of high-performance decoupled web applications that pair Drupal back-ends with React front-ends. Youll collaborate closely with different teams to deliver secure scalable solutions and ensure continuous delivery of quality code that meets regulatory standards.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Analyse design develop integrate and document Drupal & React based websites
- Create reusable React components that consume Drupal JSON:API endpoints
- Write and maintain unit integration and end-to-end tests
- Configure / tune Apache Solr (Search API Solr) for fast faceted search
- Optimize caching layers harden security and monitor Web Vitals
- Configure and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines and broader CI/CD automation
- Work in containerised high-scale environments (Docker / Kubernetes)
- Participate in backlog grooming sprint planning and other ceremonies
- Conduct peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Follow SOX SOP GLP GMP and related standards
- Produce clean well-documented efficient code
- Leverage approved AI tools to streamline daily development tasks
- Perform related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or a related discipline
- Strong track record of development experience in Drupal & React with demonstrable outcomes
- Drupal Expertise
- Deep knowledge of Drupal 10 core APIs and Composer workflows
- Proficient with decoupled architectures (JSON:API)
- Strong PHP (modern OOP Dependency Injection SOLID principles)
- React Expertise
- Familiar with React NextJS and Jest best practices
Preferred but not Essential
- Chakra UI experience
- Understanding of React components lifecycle: mounting evolvingunmounting
Soft Skills
- Clear written & verbal communication. Fluency in English essential.
- Exemplary attention to detail
- Effective planning and organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise in the face of multiple requirements
- Able to explain technical decisions and trade-offs succinctly
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure in order to meet stringent deadlines and maintain continuity
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above
