NOW HIRING a property manager
We are seeking an experienced highly motivated Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a student housing community. The ideal candidate is organized proactive and capable of balancing operational efficiency with a focus on resident engagement and academic-year turnover timelines. This position requires strong leadership communication and customer service skills to ensure both property performance and resident satisfaction.

WhaT you Will do:
- Oversee all aspects of the student housing property including leasing occupancy rent collection resident relations and maintenance operations
- Supervise and support on-site staff fostering a positive team environment
- Ensure the property operates in compliance with fair housing regulations safety standards and company policies
- Coordinate move-in/move-out processes aligned with academic calendars including pre-leasing and summer turnovers
- Implement marketing strategies to maintain high occupancy and promote the student community
- Manage the annual budgeting process control expenses and review monthly financial reports
- Address student and guarantor concerns in a professional timely manner
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure curb appeal safety and maintenance standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with campus organizations university housing offices and student residents
Position requirements:
- 2 years of experience in student housing
- 2 years of experience in property management
- Proven leadership and staff supervision skills
- Strong organizational problem-solving and communication abilities
- Proficiency with property management software (e.g. AppFolio Yardi or similar)
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak leasing and turnover seasons
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree or CAM/COS designation preferred
